The word I've heard from a fairly authoritative source is that RHEL ES
only covers the *current* version, and not future versions, unlike AS
which does cover future versions. That means that if you buy a
subscription to ES today, you will not have access to RHEL 3 support.
However, if it was me, I'd be talking to Red Hat Sales about this and
I'm sure I could twist some arms to have that restriction removed given
that RHEL 3 is so close.
