Just wanted to confirm that we're experiencing this behavior as well. We have the same problem in Red Hat 9 (but not earlier versions), and it seems that others are as well: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=85728 Appears to be a problem handling SSL certificates with Subject Alternative Name fields (which our LDAP server SSL certs have). One of the attachments to that bug report is a patch from a user. Perhaps someone at Red Hat could incorporate that?
