Will update from taroon beta to RHEL 3 be possible?

I run a fully current  Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 AS Beta 2 (i386)
on a test machine (using on of my 'enterprise' entitlements with RHN)

When RHEL 3 is officially released mid october, as the redhat website has
announced, will it be possible to update that machine via 'up2date' or via
an update-install from CDROMS to the official release?

I want to preserve all configuration adjustments which have already been
made on this test machine, when it is moved from Beta to production
status.
