I wrote a script that was originally intended to take the CD isos for
any recent Red Hat distribution and create a bootable DVD iso. You could
use that and then mount the DVD iso on a loopback. It correctly handles
the .diskinfo file (within reason).

Usage: mkdvdiso.sh /path/to/cd/isos /path/to/dvdfile.iso

Requires lots of room in your home directory for a temporary directory
(configurable) to store the files, and lots of room where you want to
store the dvd.iso itself.
