I think it's different for PCs on other CPUs, so Arjan could be referring to a different architecture. btw, 64MB seems to work on VMWare for a GUI install; it seems to bork below this level. 64MB seems to be enough to open a GUI after install - but not enough to run anything serious. But then again, the Red Hat numbers for RHL9 (shrike) were conservative as well. I'm just hoping that someone could point me to the document.
