You can try the ones at http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.5/ though I
don't know whether they work on taroon (I guess they would, perhaps with
some package upgrades). However I suspect the 2.6 kernel won't be
supported until RHEL 4 or later, as retrofitting a major kernel change
doesn't strike me as the sort of thing you can do in the middle of a
release, as it is likely to break things.
