Correct.

Incorrect.  It's not in any way related to RHL - it's got an enterprise
core with non-enterprise support.

It's my understanding that you will never see a boxed set based on
Fedora - that's a money-losing proposition given the short life cycles
of Fedora.

Taroon is effectively the beta.  BUY.COM shows a release date of
10/26/2003 but I have not heard a releate date from Red Hat yet.  They
show a price of $82.57 which is down from the $100.99 they were charging
earlier this week.  The product includes one year or RHN support.  Given
that this is worth $60 by itself, that makes the product $23.  If that's
not affordable, then Fedora might be right for you (free with free
support).
