To remove a package from a specific arch, I run rpm -e <package_name-version-release.arch> (e.g. rpm -e glibc-2.3.2-74.i386). If you try a way to remove all packages from a specific arch (say i386 on a AMD64 or ia64 workstation) in one instruction, I'm interested ;-) Le mer 15/10/2003 à 07:00, Michael Levine a écrit : > Hello, > I'm having a little problem updating my AMD64 Beta2 system. > I run up2date and this is the error I get. > > Unresolvable chain of dependencies: > XFree86-libs-4.3.0-16.EL requires XFree86-libs-data = > 4.3.0-16.EL > glibc-2.3.2-74 requires glibc-common = 2.3.2-74 > > I think it is because I have two glibc-2.3.2-74 packages the i386 and the > AMD64 one > How can I fix this? remove the i386 one? > how can I just remove the i386 package but not the AMD64 one? > > I kind of need cross-arch compiling. > TIA, > Mike Levine > > > -- > Taroon-beta-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list > -- Taroon-beta-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/taroon-beta-list
