Re: Firewire support in RHEL

Hello,

I finally managed to enable my firewire card and the attached scsi disk.
I used the "rescan-scsi-bus.sh" script which I found on www.linux1394.org. 
After running this script, my devices were recognized. Apparently at the 
moment there is no full "hotplugging" support for such devices. Don't know 
why this worked perfectly under RedHat 7.3 but I'm happy with this solution.
