Yes it's possible (we updated an rh 7.2 with last Xfree86 and kernels) but 
i need to build several packages used by the RedHat XFree4.3 SRPMS 
(fontconfig etc...).






Has anyone tried to build and install XFree86 4.3.0 on RedHat 7.3?
Is this doable or is it a Bad Idea?
