RE: No Valid Mode Found DFP/LCD

Thanks for the reply.  I did try without "crt_screen".  I tried it with
"CRTScreen" as well.  I tried it with at different resolutions and color
depths.  I even dug up a backup of the XF86Config from RH8, which worked
perfectly with RH8, and that did not work (same error).

I found documentation for Xfree 4.3 and found that ATI now uses
"crt_display" and "nopanel_display".  I tried both and neither works.  I
even got the GATOS drivers and get the same error.

I'm apparently not the only one with this problem.  I've seen other posts to
this list - no one seems to have the answer.  I found a link to another list
that stated you cannot use a CRT with the RADEON 7500 - this seems odd.
Most everyone I know still has a CRT.

So much for installing RedHat and having it "just work".

I'm just a newbie on Linux, but I have running RH9 and ATI Radeon 9000. I
guess you should delete this Option "crt_screen".

Maybe you need to enter the BusID. Try 'lspci -vv', then you should see a
BusID assigned to your card. Mine has PCI:1:0:0, enter this value to the
Device section:
	 BusID       "PCI:1:0:0"
