 Just wanted to mention that the link to Yannis Haralambous' article
about typesetting the bible with TeX is brokern in

 An updated working link is

 (probably not very relevant, as the font systems are different, but anyway,
 I remembered that this article contained some algorithms/pseudocode
for placing diacritics in hebrew ).
