It is a little unclear from the message if BidiMail was indeed installed or not. If it was, to use it, you have two options: 1) Pressing ctrl+shift+x in a message composition window changes the direction of the window. 2) To show the r->l/l->r buttons, in the message composition window (i.e. the one opened when you press "write"), right-click anywhere on the toolbar. This gives you a little button labelled "customize...". Click it, and a dialog opens with additional buttons you can drag into the toolbar; the missing buttons are in that dialog, if BidiMail is installed. Hope this helps, Shai.
