(though not too useful, unless you are into writing biblical Hebrew poetry)

I still dream that one day, we'll have hspell generate all words with their
correct niqqud, nicely fitting into the back end of your program. Until that day
(in which temperatures in hell would surely drop), I'd be happy to play with
your program as it is.

I hate to discourage you, but not much quality dotted text is being generated in
our era. Therefore I suspect that your freedb idea would fail. On the other
hand, consider scavenging on benyehuda.org.
