KODI on Raspberry PI2 - no screen output

I installed Raspbian, OSMC and OpenELEC on a new Raspberry PI2 from
the latest version of NOOBS (Jessie).

Raspbian works fine.

Both OSMC and OpenELEC run KODI immediately after booting. But in both
cases, after seeing a Logo for a few seconds, there's no output to the
screen. In both cases, the PI is still "alive" - I can ping it - just
no output to the screen.

I tried installing KODI on the working Raspbian (apt-get install kodi).
After a successful installation, I ran KODI - both from the Raspbian
menu and from the CLI. In both cases, I again get no output to the
screen.

Any ideas?
