Hi everyone I have a CentOS 6 machine used by around 20 to 30 students at a time and I need to do one of two things: 1. find and kill top memory user with script 2. limit memory usage Using cgroups, I have successfully limited memory usage to about 1.5 cpu's max (per user) out of 16 but evidently I have had less success with memory hogs. I understand that memory is a bit complicated to compute because of shared memory etc. but I need to make the 32G of physical memory go around more evenly. Would appreciate any ideas. Thanks, Josh _______________________________________________ Linux-il mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il
