I can list the most important ones:

- Translations are now all in the same file, that is bad for downloading and 
parsing.
- mult-arch in the same repo without downloading and parsing everything. You 
could use some kind of name conventon ( primary-i386.xml ? ) but I guess that 
is not part of the standard
- dfferent modules in the same repo. So you can ignore some (debug, nonoss), 
this could be implemented just gving a name to each resource, appart of the 
file and type.
