problem in config.py

In line 687 of config.py it sets releasever:

releasever = hdr['version']

For me it gets set to something like 7.89 which breaks a lot of
things. Being impatient and having many other things to debug I just
add a line after it saying releasever = '7' which fixes
things. Is this a known problem? If not I guess I might as well
figure it out, but if so, please, save me the time;)
