Try: # export http_proxy="... OR # http_proxy="... # export http_proxy Oh, and in this is your login to the proxy, it is not strictly in the http URL, so it should not need to be encoded using %20 for the space. Though that is dependent on the proxy, so I would try it both ways. Good luck! -Dan -- C.
