Re: help needed in yum installation

Thanks to Seth Vidal, my yum was working perfectly. I was trying to follow
the thread

for installation of codec files. I progressed with the following commands:

*cd /etc
mv -f yum.conf yum.conf.bak
wget http://www.fedorafaq.org/samples/yum.conf*

and then happened

*[root@onsager Desktop]# rpm -Uvh http://www.fedorafaq.org/yum

Not only I couldnt finish the installation, yumex stopped working. I removed
yumex and tried reinstalling. It gives the following error:

I decided to reinstall yum and then this happens
