Thanks for the quick response. I cud install yum. But I cant use it. It says the following: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [root@onsager Download]# yum -y update Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running as pid 2806. Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit...
