 It looks like something inside urlgrabber (or the modules it calls)
is doing a host lookup, before it puts the data through to the
proxy. I can't see where atm. though.
 To make sure you might want to try adding a fake entry in /etc/hosts
for something and then see if yum can use it through the proxy.
