Greetings. I'm new to this list, so please be gentle. I was recently shown that yum can find and select a package for installation based on a feature or capability, such as: # yum install "perl(Archive::Tar)" This will determine which package contains the named perl module, and install it if it's not already installed. Very cool. When I read the man page (yum-3.2.8-9.el5.centos.2.1), I see nothing that even hints at this capability, unless I'm misreading it. It says that a package name Should I be looking elsewhere for yum documentation, or will the man page be updated/clarified at some point? Thanks. -- -Eric 'shubes'
