It gives

The packages ffmpeg and lam-398 were custom compiled with some
modifications.
These packages with the modification are in use for a live site hosted on
the machine.
I also did a *--exclude=lame* --exclude=ffmpeg* *but it gives the same error
while yum updating (even tried excluding in yum.conf).
I did a google search, which told that i should *rpm -e --nodeps* the
conflicting package?
Since, that cannot be done can anyone suggest a workaround for updating
Centos using yum?
