Thank you for patiently seeing this through. I'm the guy with the
yum-unfriendly COTS RPM. The vendor saw the light and fixed their RPM,
so it's yummy!

as far as I can remember it has provided that tag.

but let's be clear - if I can't even see the pkg header (which contains
no 
contents of the package payload)

I don't know how likely I'll be to take a patch around it.
