RPM is appended to my mirror list entries

Something is appending the text word RPM to the end of my mirrorlist
entries.

I am expecting:

http://yum/centos5.2-x86_64/RPMS.extras

But I am getting:

http://yum/centos5.2-x86_64/RPMS.extras/RPMS

What is adding RPMS?
