make yum quieter?

Hi all,

Right now, when yum is called, it generates a long line of dependency
solving stuff, and then gives the final result to a table.
Is there a way to mute that dependency solving stuff so that only the
final result table is shown? (and set as default?)

So, maybe like a

Loaded Plugins: blah moreblah
Reading Package Lists...
Solving Dependencies...

<table here>


instead of a
Loaded Plugins: blah moreblah
<lots of scrolling not-user-friendly stuff here>
