Have you enabled the source-repos, that can break stuff
the source sould not be enabled by default
the tool will do it on the right time.

yum-builddep firefox is work for me, I would normally use yum-builddep
name.rpm or yum-builddep name.spec on a local file
but yum-builddep firefox is also working for me.
