Hello everyone! After months of testing and bug hunting and a few new small features, there is a 1.4.9 release candidate for longterm kernels 3.14.27, 3.12.35 and 3.10.63. Please help development by testing this version and reporting to the list. http://download.rsbac.org/pre/ Kernel changes: - Port to 3.12 and 3.14. - debug_adf_rc|jail: only log, if rsbac_log_levels[request][target] != LL_none - new JAIL flag JAIL_allow_netdev_mod_system, MODIFY_SYSTEM_DATA on NETDEV - Do not check SEND_SIGNAL to a process that is already exiting. - JAIL: DO_NOT_CARE about SIGCHLD signal to process outside jail - Add kernel parameter rsbac_list_noread to avoid reading lists from disk. - Make sys_rsbac_rc_set_item() work in softmode, if current role is undefined Tools changes: - rsbac_usershow: add -P = short list all users with pseudo and full names - rsbac_jail flag -F (JAIL_allow_netdev_mod_system), MODIFY_SYSTEM_DATA on NETDEV - all tools with user names: add parameter -z to not accept uids for usernames As a final note: Even if you do not see new releases on the Web pages too often, there is usually the latest code for the current longterm kernels available in the git repositories at git.rsbac.org.
