Hi! With the initial help of Chris Hammond, the entire source code to SENTINIX is now in CVS. After I learned using CVS (just yesterday:), updating the source tree is a real pleasure. :o) Public anonymous CVS would be the definite way to go next, there's only one problem: When I checkout the source tree, CVS allocates over 50MB+30MB (over 80MB) of RAM, and that's just _one_ "concurrent" checkout. If I do two concurrent checkouts, it's way up over 200MB and starts to eat off my swap partition. :( I'm looking for someone interested in hosting a public SENTINIX CVS mirror. It could be a box with just 256MB RAM, but with fast (40MB/s) harddrives to set up a large swap partition (>2GB). Needless to say, the box would have to be dedicated to the SENTINIX CVS repository. -- Michel Blomgren SENTINIX Project Manager http://sentinix.org
