  I tried configuring the nagios audio alerts with
 host_down_alert=hostdwon.wav in nagios.cfg. But its giving me the error  "
 uknown variable".

 Is audio alerts supported by sentinix 4.2.

If yes , can u plz help me to solve this prob.
