2.4, 2.5, 2.6 are all different branches, not really improved versions, they 
all, for instance, got the mremap bug (including 2.6.0, I've checked). The 
differences between them are the features and some of it's design. 2.6 has, 
for instance, the LSM feature and a different type of configuration than 2.4. 
2.6.0 wasn't released when sentinix 0.70.5 was released.

2.4.21 will continue has the openMosix kernel in the next release as I have 
abused it "beyond reasonable doubt" that it's a damn stable HPC solution.

Which plain/smp kernel I'll go for in the next release I don't know yet.

All kernels will however be patched against the do_brk and do_mremap bugs.

Already in there, at least adaptec, mylex, etc. I will not add IDE RAID though 
(it's still experimental). Any particular card?
