 Please note that I am not a Sentinix developer, I am however a Net/Security Admin and Sentinix user. I would be comfortable stating that your network infection was derived elsewhere,"Goabot" is a Winx virus so a Linux machine would not be included in the lifecycle of that virus.

 I would attribute your infected WinX machines to the following, a lack of commercial anti-virus protection and/or updated signatures. Depending on the strain of Goabot it may attack through unpassworded (or weak) network shares and is controlled via IRC. Block IRC ports at the firewall. always.

 Sentinix Linux and Nessus are completely unrelated systems and have nothing to do with Windows viri, I'm sure that as your treatment of the network progresses all of this will become apparent.

 I have 5 Sentinix machines running with no problems and recommend it highly.

Hi,

I downloaded, installed and set up Sentinix 0.70.50 last week.
After that I started a scaning of our network using Nessus. Following
it, all our computers have been infected by the Gaobot virus one after 
another !!! It may just be a coincidence but there may anyway be
a relationship between the infection and the scan of our computers.
Do you have an explaination for that ? Did this happen previously ??

I must say that now I hesitate to use/recommend your product, although
I considered it well-suited to our purpose....
