I suggest trying OpenProtect http://opencomputing.sourceforge.net/ It is a
scripted install of mailscanner, spamassassin and clamav and it replaces the
configs for postfix rather than overwriting them so that you can uninstall
it if it fails.. I have used it successfully on an Engarde-Linux system..

Subject: [sentinix-list] MailScanner update in Sentinix

What's the procedure to upgrade the actual MailScanner version to the latest
one?
I've tried a new install but all went wrong regarding postfix, because
sendmail seems to be the default mail system in MailScanner.

The idea is to use Sentinix as an blackbox between firewall and MS Exchange
mailserver.
Are there somewhere recommendations available for above set-up?
And I like to use in addition the ClamAV...

Thanks,
Geert
