Thank you all for your time and efforts. I was about to start mucking
around with my /etc/ssh/ssh_config file, when I noticed that I liked it
the way it was. So, went to the other machine to read some docs, and...
I'll probably be banned from the list when I say this... I noticed that
I couldn't get out on the net. It was like I had two machines running
the same IP on my local area network! Wouldn't you know it I found the
problem in a network configuration file called NETCONFIG!
(/etc/NETCONFIG.)

the following variables:
SX_NETDEV_eth0_IP and SX_GATEWAY where identical.

Which is great if this machine was my gateway, but it isn't.
So I left the SX_GATEWAY variable set as it was to point to my actual
gateway. And then set SX_NETDEV_eth0_IP to the IP that I'm currently
assigning to the Sentinix machine. Quite an embarrassment that something
like this would be the kicker!

NOTE:Later when and if I make this sentinix box my gateway, I'll set it
so that they're duplicates.

So I rebooted the machine for the heck of it, and in a minute or so, I
tried pointing a web client at the machine using https://<ip-address>,
and it works!

Once I logged into everything, which was fun in a tricky way, honestly,
my almost fell out of my chair. VERY IMPRESSED! NICE JOB DEVELOPMENT
TEAM AND CONTRIBUTORS! I've been trying to build something like this on
my own for the past two years! Too many hours to count, too many
questions to record. Which is why I bought the book Snort 2.1 2nd
Edition from SYNGRESS publishing, which highly recommended this project.

Again, thank you all for your help!
