[sentinix-list] RE: Non CD ROM Bootable Machine (Andrew Rothwell)

I have several machines running Sentinix that did not have the bios to boot
from the CD.  I just slipped the hard drive I intended to install Sentinix
on into a machine whose bios would boot from the disk, did the install, and
moved the hard disk back to the machine I intended to learn/test Sentinix
on.

As I stated before, it has worked for me on several occasions before - only
real thing to watch out for is that the intended machine and the machine
used for basic install cannot be too different from one another.  I have had
issues going from P4 machines to PIII machines - but no problems going from
PIII 700 to PII 350 - other hardware (net cards in particular) in all
machines were similar.

Good day list,

Stumbled upon the Sentinix Distro, and looks to be a very handy one.
The machine that I want to install this distro, and test it out, does not
have a CD-Rom bootable BIOS.

In the User Guide, it says to make sure that the bios is cd rom bootable.

Is there any other way to install the dist and get it running (boot
floppy or something)?
