I changed the root password on the machine a couple of times thinking somehow I was typing it wrong. still no success. Does anyone know how to fix this minor issue? This can be changed, though not recommended, via /etc/ssh/sshd_config. I get during installation an Bad header fault in the main tgz. file. The same fault accurs when a download the same ISO from another host.
