Thank you for the feedback. I was starting to wonder if I was alone on these mailing lists. :) [Walter Bender] > Hard to reconcile including Ken Robinson, who advocates for > learning, and Sugata Mitra, who advocates for instruction in the > same list. Well, one way to look at it is that Ken Robinson paint a picture over how todays schools are not working very well, and Sugata Mitra sketches a solution. Another way to look at it is that Ken Robinson sketches what can be done in the short term to try to mitigate some of the problems in todays schools, while Sugata Mitra bring some visionary ideas on how to solve them in the long term. I'm not sure which of these I subscribe to, if any, but I am glad I have been able to hear them both (and the rest of the talks I pointed to), as they really get me thinking about the school of tomorrow. :) So I hope as many as possible start to check out the TED talks. Personally I subscribe using the miro video RSS reader, and normally see one or two every day. :) -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- For melde deg av denne epostlisten eller endre innstillingene dine besk: https://lists.skolelinux.org/listinfo/bruker
