Hi Sven,

thanks for reporting your woes with the Debian Edu 13 main server
installation.

The overall answer is: the main server installation does not yet work
and I am focusing on the client installation first. (This seems to
work now in all of my customer setups, however, we deploy the clients
with debian-edu-fai, so I still need to test D-I).

But I will look into a Debian 13 based Edu main server installation
for sure. We need to get this resolved soon.

To set up a school, please use Debian Edu 12 as main server and
install Debian Edu 13 clients. To deploy Debian Edu 13 clients, this
needs some tweaking of the pxeinstall environment or it requires using
debian-edu-fai. Unfortunately, both approaches are underdocumented /
documented only in German:
https://wiki.it-zukunft-schule.de/Technik/Installation/VM/FAIServer/bullseye
(this should mostly work for trixie, too)

That said, any kind of help with maintaining Debian Edu is highly
welcome (be it documentation work, development, etc.)

Thanks,
Mike
