Code sprint, Developer Gathering - August 12-14 Oslo, Norway

Hi there, 

We conducted a successful developer gathering at Nokia Norway July 22-24. 
We were 6 people joining in the middle of the summer vacation.  To 
continue the progress, we are inviting to a second sprint at FreeCode in 
Oslo, August 12-14. Please join. 

We are focusing on further promoting and developing free software projects 
as Skolelinux, Open/Libre Office, Debian-edu, KDE, Gnome, Mandriva etc. (we 
have invited Ubuntu contributors too and are waiting for reply). 

The location for this sprint is FreeCode in Nydalsveien 30A, Oslo. Please

We are starting 11:00 on Friday August 12, giving an introduction to 
successful Libre/OpenOffice deployment, the community and further free 
software activities targeting Pads, Netbooks and free software in 
education, public administrations and businesses. 

Good news. Redpill Linpro has offered their training office for a third or 
forth sprint this autumn. So we are set to go for more sprints going 
forward. 

Oh, not to forget. Since there has been slow progress applying for 
community sponsorship, even if founds are there to apply for, there will 
be no reimbursement of travel or food. Participants has to cover such cost 
them self. The Free Software in Schools got a work track on making 
sponsorship application for future gatherings and says yes to all help 
they can get.
