Sound like the kernel fail to boot properly, or the video driver do
not properly work.  Perhaps the clues from

Or perhaps some firmware is missing.  Check out

for ideas how to fix it.

I do not know the hardware, so I can't give any better advice.

There are more readers on the [email protected] mailing
list.  Perhaps raise the issue there?
