Need a nudge in right direction...

Hi folks,

I'd like to move away from the current distro I use as I don't feel it's moving in a
good direction (I use openSUSE and have been using it since 7.3 IIRR, ~2000. With
SuSE/openSUSE climbing into bed with M$, things will not turn out good).

I've looked and looked lately at many different distro's. Gentoo and Lunar looked very
promising except that I live on a very small fixed income and am stuck with a dial-up only
connection and both of those distro's really would be too difficult to operate without a
fat pipe.

So, I've decided to go with Slackware (it too won't be exactly 'easy' with dial-up, but
it's going to be a better distro than what I have I believe). My dilemma with this though
- I unfortunately
can't afford the forty dollars for the DVD/CD set at the Slackware store. Is there
somewhere I can give LinuxCD.org an URL so they can burn the latest Slackware for me? I
realize 13.37 is the 'official' latest, but since it's been a year, I'd sure like to have
the 'actual' latest (I hope that makes sense). I'm just not sure where to go or start and
could sure use a little help with this.

  Thanks,

  JB
