   I was hoping this would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it does not.

   When I clicked on the text entry widget for the password, the correct
string was present, but I re-entered it anyway.

   Please keep these ideas coming. I know there's a solution to the problem
and it's beyond my expertise.
