Where to put firewall command for stratup at boot?

  Hi gang,

  I have shorewall installed and working really nicely, or so I thought, but 
when I went to my suse hdd for something and came back to the Slackware hdd, I'd 
presumed that shorewall had already installed the command (or whatever it was, 
can't remember at the moment) to start when Slack boots up. It (shorewall) 
didn't start up. I had to open a konsole and do the command 'shorewall start' 
myself.

  I did some reading here and there and I put that command (shorewall start) in 
the /etc/rc.d/rc.local.

  Is that the correct place to have it so that shorewall starts up as the system 
is booting, or have I bungled and misinterpreted where something like that 
should go?
