Installing Guest OS in qemu-kvm

   I built and installed qemu-kvm from the Slackbuilds.org script and loaded
the kvm-intel module. I bought a Dell re-installation disk of Win7/home to
use as the guest OS, being told by the seller that it works on all systems.
(Since I know nothing about Microsoft's stuff I took his word for it.)

   With the disk in the Dell laptop's optical drive I invoke qemu-kvm and am
told that 'boot failed: could not read from CDROM (code 0003)'.

   If anyone here has experience with qemu-kvm please advise me what to do to
get the guest OS installed.
