Sucks even worse that I got it to work in openSuSE 11.3 somehow (though it's got a bad green tint to it that's too hard to actually make it usable). I guess I'll just have to try and be happy with wxcam and open a separate ftp app with it when I want to use it. Real shame though, 'cause as I said, camstream is really, really nice and after 11+ years of using it I hate to see it die off.
