What fun this is!

I've compiled and installed gnutls v2.12.19 but I still have a problem. 
  And it's an odd one at that.

The new binaries are in /usr/local/bin but the version number is strange.

./gnutls-cli -v gives me
./gnutls-cli (GnuTLS 2.12.19) 2.12.7

So I've got the newest version installed but it's reporting a lower 
number.  Is part of this coming from a Slackware config list somewhere?

I still have tho old binaries in /usr/bin but I'm symlink those to the 
new ones once I figure this out.
