Going wireless...

  Hi folks,

  Being always either too poor to afford satellite internet (as we're literally
  out in the woods and no DSL or cable) or just not able to get a decent signal
  for any other kind of internet, I've not ever looked into setting up WiFi.

  Now we finally, after years of frustration at being stuck with dial-up, we
  have a chance to use something much faster (wisper internet, in case anyone
  has heard of it).

  Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent wired and wireless combination
  router that is relatively inexpensive? I've opted to try some (also
  relatively inexpensive) USB adaptors for the two computers to make things
  easier in case I can get away with not needing to wire them both or just one)

  Will setting up a wireless connection be difficult or is it pretty much as
  simple as it is with a dial-up modem or whatever? (I use KDE, btw)

  Thanks for any info and any help (keep it simple please! heh). I'm fairly
  excited about this as it seems it's about damned time (I used to repair
  computers 10+ years ago and was often disgusted that people who shouldn't
  even been allowed to *own* computers, much less touch one, were able to have
  dsl/high-speed internet and I would go home and be stuck on dial-up. Made me
  sick to my stomach).
