I have no idea who the company is, but as a member of WISPA myself, I
can say that wireless point to point Internet service is a sound and
practical technology.

It also painlessly supports connection oriented protocols and multi-port
protocols, like SSH, telnet, VoIP, and FTP. It also means no more
frustrating SSl/TLS connections over port 443 w/places like banks,
PayPal, and other sites that force secure connections for HTTP.

You may want to check out http://www.ubnt.com/

They have just about everything you can imagine and will help you over
the phone too making sure you choose items that support the correct
frequencies, etc.
