I see two angles on this: Either it is a mistake and it has been left out, or the Japanese translation is currently too incomplete to be added in the release. I just had a release slip by me because a load of text strings in a piece of software were introduced just before release, and I did not notice before the release... What I am saying is: If it is available, and Pat puts in all the other localizations, there is no reason not to use it.
